1. Acceptance of Terms

By using TreadSync, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Service Description

TreadSync is a Progressive Web Application (PWA) that allows you to:

• Track walking pad workout sessions with a timer
• Manually input distance from your treadmill display
• Export workouts as FIT, GPX, PDF, or CSV files
• Store workout data locally on your device

3. Pricing and Payment

• One-time purchase: $4.99 USD
• Payment processor: Stripe
• No refunds: As a digital product, all sales are final. No refunds will be issued after purchase.
• No subscription: This is a one-time payment with lifetime access

4. User Obligations

You agree to:

• Provide accurate workout data when creating sessions
• Not misuse the service or attempt to reverse-engineer the software
• Not share your access with others
• Comply with all applicable laws when using the service

5. Data and Privacy

All workout data is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your workout data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. File Exports

TreadSync generates FIT and GPX files based on the data you input. You are responsible for:

• Verifying the accuracy of exported files before uploading to third-party platforms (Garmin Connect, Strava, etc.)
• Ensuring compliance with the terms of service of third-party platforms
• Understanding that exported files may be rejected by some platforms depending on their validation rules

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

TreadSync is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Accuracy of exported files
• Compatibility with all devices or platforms
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data or profits
• Damages arising from use or inability to use the service
• Issues caused by third-party services (Garmin, Strava, Stripe, Netlify)

9. Third-Party Platforms

We are not affiliated with Garmin, Strava, or any other fitness platform. Use of exported files with third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service.

10. Intellectual Property

TreadSync and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via the app or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the service at our discretion, without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes will be resolved in German courts.
