YOUR
GARMIN
SHOWS 0 KM
WE FIX THAT.

Your arm rests on the desk. The treadmill counts 5 km. Garmin counts nothing. TreadSync tracks your workout and exports it as a real FIT file for Garmin Connect and Strava.

The problem

YOUR ARM
DOESN'T
MOVE.

Garmin, Apple Watch, Fitbit — they all measure distance through arm movement. At a walking pad desk, your arm rests on the keyboard. Result: 0 km, 0 calories, 0 pace. Hours of walking. Nothing in your training history.

😤
Without TreadSync
45 minutes on the walking pad. Garmin Connect shows 0 km. Apple Watch tells you to stand up. No streak, no calories, no progress recorded.
With TreadSync
Start timer, type in distance from the display, download FIT file. 60 seconds. Garmin Connect shows 4.2 km, 10:42 min/km, 252 kcal.
📱
Official apps (KS Fit, WalkingPad)
Buggy, Chinese servers, no Garmin sync, data gets lost, wrong timezones. 2-star reviews across the App Store. No export whatsoever.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Does it work with my Garmin Forerunner / Fenix / Vivoactive? +
Yes. TreadSync generates a standard FIT file accepted by all Garmin watches and Garmin Connect, regardless of model.
Do I need an account? +
No. TreadSync runs entirely in your browser without any account. Sessions are stored locally on your device. No cloud, no login.
Does it work offline? +
Yes. After the first load, TreadSync works fully offline thanks to a Service Worker. Install it to your home screen like a native app.
How do I get the FIT file into Garmin Connect? +
Download the file → open connect.garmin.com → click the upload icon top right → select your file. Takes about 10 seconds. Step-by-step instructions are shown inside the app after every workout.
Does it work with Apple Watch or Samsung too? +
Yes — the arm-movement problem affects all smartwatches. TreadSync solves it with manual FIT/GPX export, independent of the manufacturer.
What happens to my data? +
Nothing leaves your device. All sessions are stored exclusively in your browser's local storage. No server, no database, no tracking cookies.
What walking pad brands does it work with? +
All of them. WalkingPad, KingSmith, Urevo, LifeSpan, Walkolution — any brand. You simply read the distance from your treadmill's display and type it in. No Bluetooth pairing needed.
